Thanks to the know-how of internal technicians and the advice of excellent professionals, as well as the resources of the parent company, studies begin to create a technological system of vertical greenery that is truly sustainable. After three years of development, the Climax System was born from Climax: the world’s only continuous-substrate modular vertical green system that does not use potable water and uses AI and IOT to manage the inputs needed to make the system reliable, performant, and finally able to optimize ecosystem services. CollebiCollebi Collebi – A Celebration of Tuscan Ceramic Tradition Collebi is a collection of table and home décor pieces, born from the rich history of the Collebrunacchi Farm in San Miniato (Pisa). This collection revives the ceramic tradition once practiced at the farm during the 19th century and into the early 1900s. Within the property stands “La Fornace,” an old structure that still exists today, where materials for construction and decorative items were once produced. According to local lore, a large kiln inside La Fornace was used to fire bricks for building farmhouses and expanding production facilities. However, the kiln also served daily life, producing plates, pottery, decorative items, and cooking pots. From this long-standing tradition, COLLEBI was born. Today, the collection is crafted entirely in Tuscany by skilled local ceramists and decorators. Each piece is inspired by original models discovered on the farm. The designs strongly reflect the romantic charm of the 19th century, with noticeable influences from 18th-century styles. The modern reinterpretation comes to life through vibrant, colorful glazes rooted in the pastel hues of the Rococo period.

The glass is textured—why change or alter it? Perhaps the intrinsic beauty of an almost “raw” object carries as much magnetism as a more “pure” one. Gicquel chooses plaster as his medium to texture the glass, imprinting it with forms that are endlessly random yet always unique. His purpose transcends creation itself. The strength of his work does not rest solely in the objects he crafts, but in the thoughtful approach that shapes them. Over time, his technique has refined itself, giving rise to the “Yuugen” texture, which emerges beautifully at 900°C. The textured glass is alive, raw, and real. VerolabVerolab “I’ve always believed that extraordinary things can happen in life. It happened to me with porcelain. In 2015 I started the production of my porcelain … I still remember the satisfaction of looking at my first “perfect” cup! After a thousand attempts, errors and trials, I have become familiar with the subject and over time I have increased my technical confidence. Working with porcelain is a tough choice, because of all ceramics it is the most precious and elegant one. The only translucent one, and the most difficult, too. To create a handcrafted object in porcelain it takes at least 10 working days. A long job, which requires about ten steps, as well as two firings: the second one reaches a temperature of 1250 degrees centigrade. Each step of the birth of an object requires experience, sensitivity, and precision. This is why I have learned to value failure too, not to lose patience in the face of negative results. CollebiCollebi Collebi – A Celebration of Tuscan Ceramic Tradition Collebi is a collection of table and home décor pieces, born from the rich history of the Collebrunacchi Farm in San Miniato (Pisa). This collection revives the ceramic tradition once practiced at the farm during the 19th century and into the early 1900s. Within the property stands “La Fornace,” an old structure that still exists today, where materials for construction and decorative items were once produced. According to local lore, a large kiln inside La Fornace was used to fire bricks for building farmhouses and expanding production facilities. However, the kiln also served daily life, producing plates, pottery, decorative items, and cooking pots. From this long-standing tradition, COLLEBI was born. Today, the collection is crafted entirely in Tuscany by skilled local ceramists and decorators. Each piece is inspired by original models discovered on the farm. Undulations in sand that has been moved by the wind, rock formations caused by landslides, the crackle and patina in the wall of an old house; all these owe their special beauty to the random hand of Nature. The fire is the ultimate random part of the collaborative equation. I hope the fire will be my ally, but I know it will always transform the clay in ways I cannot anticipate.

She creates unique pieces, either as small differentiated series or custom-made. Her entire production is divided into series of ceramics, each rooted in a central concept that is developed to create unique, entirely handmade pieces. Each series draws inspiration from themes related to nature: plants, seeds, soil, leaves, fruits, insects, and more, aiming to tell the story of the natural world through organic forms. Her work with shapes and volumes is a process of subtraction, seeking an essence that evokes rather than describes nature. This narrative unfolds in multiple directions: it reflects on the significant anthropogenic impact on ecosystems, almost as an alarm call, while also celebrating the beauty of the natural world, driven by its distinctive life force. Matthieu GicquelMatthieu Gicquel The conclusion after reading In Praise of Shadows is clear: Matthieu Gicquel is moving toward something simpler, more sincere. The glass is textured—why change or alter it? Perhaps the intrinsic beauty of an almost “raw” object carries as much magnetism as a more “pure” one. Gicquel chooses plaster as his medium to texture the glass, imprinting it with forms that are endlessly random yet always unique. His purpose transcends creation itself. The strength of his work does not rest solely in the objects he crafts, but in the thoughtful approach that shapes them. Over time, his technique has refined itself, giving rise to the “Yuugen” texture, which emerges beautifully at 900°C. The textured glass is alive, raw, and real. VerolabVerolab “I’ve always believed that extraordinary things can happen in life. It happened to me with porcelain. In 2015 I started the production of my porcelain … I still remember the satisfaction of looking at my first “perfect” cup! After a thousand attempts, errors and trials, I have become familiar with the subject and over time I have increased my technical confidence. Working with porcelain is a tough choice, because of all ceramics it is the most precious and elegant one. The only translucent one, and the most difficult, too. To create a handcrafted object in porcelain it takes at least 10 working days. A long job, which requires about ten steps, as well as two firings: the second one reaches a temperature of 1250 degrees centigrade. Each step of the birth of an object requires experience, sensitivity, and precision. This is why I have learned to value failure too, not to lose patience in the face of negative results.
