Ossa is a collection of artistic ceramics inspired by “seed boxes,” the seed capsules of plants. These woody casings symbolically resemble the hard parts of our bodies: bones. They serve as a protective shell for the plant’s vital essence. Nature offers a vast array of capsule forms, which captured my attention. Some pieces in the Ossa collection are stylistically closer to the botanical essence of their inspiration, while others evoke organic shapes and transform into abstract structures. All are united by a single purpose: to celebrate the diverse manifestations of life.
