Innovative, ecological, and with a unique and original design: Perpetua is round with one flat side. Today, it is the only pencil produced in Italy made with an innovative material composed of 80% graphite recovered from industrial processing waste and subsequently modified and improved (upgraded recycled graphite). It’s durable, writing for 1120 km, 21.6 times more than traditional wooden pencils. Its unique design (round with one flat side) is patented worldwide. It writes consistently, even without a point or if divided in two. It won’t break if it falls. Equipped with an eraser, its one-piece body with its writing part comes in 22 different colors. In addition to the Classic version, it’s available in three other variations: Lumina, Glitter, and Back to school. Although a simple object, Perpetua the pencil has innovative features compared to traditional pencils that tend to break upon impact (which is why they are still protected with two glued wooden shells). The search for the optimal chemical formulation (covered by a patent) has resulted in a material, Zantech®, which, during the molding phase, can channel the biopolymeric binder mainly onto the outer layer of Perpetua. This leaves a higher concentration of graphite in the central section of its writing body, allowing for smooth writing on paper and preventing hands from getting dirty during use.
