Here we are again! After summer, sometimes sweltering, we’re finally in autumn, the season I don’t hide from you, I prefer. September always brings the energy of new beginnings, but this year there’s also something different in the air. As the leaves begin to change color, we at Raremood are also experiencing a transformation that will redefine the way we talk about home, beauty, and sustainability.

The revolution of objects that tell stories

When we founded our architecture studio’s department, entirely dedicated to sustainable home objects, we called it RAREMOOD with the mission of providing you with a highly personal look at design objects and the creative people who make them. We made a conscious decision to approach interiors from a radically different, curious, responsible, and even slightly “disruptive” point of view. We believe that it’s the objects you surround yourself with that truly give your home its soul.
Objects are the story you tell the world about your personality and your obsessions, your experiences and your memories, your desires and your intentions.
Infused with your personal narrative, they provide a catalyst for conversation when friends visit (or virtually view) your home, and a comfort when you’re at home on your own, relaxing, thinking, studying, or whatever else you do. They’re there with you, they speak to you and nurture you.

A Magazine that is a personal compass

RAREMOOD is becoming a magazine, and it’s not an exaggeration to say it will be a pleasant surprise in the sector. But you have to wait a little longer: we’re talking about November. I can’t wait! But in the meantime, we’ll tell you step by step where we are. At the moment we’ve started bringing the front end to life (what will be seen graphically on the site) but behind it there’s a very complex structure our “nerds” are working on. The cover photo of this article is a little preview for you: it will be one of the iconic images of our new Home: it’s Italy, undoubtedly, that permeates our thinking and our taste in choosing objects from around the world, and it’s Plato who is our constant source of inspiration, with his recommendation to always seek Harmony in things and in the world.
RAREMOOD is NOT yet another e-commerce site or a simple online magazine. We’re giving shape to an international magazine on sustainability that will inspire every day with new suggestions, authentic stories, and that sensitivity for beauty that has always distinguished our approach. But above all, we’re creating a comprehensive guide to incorporating new objects into your home with the idea that they remain relevant to you for years to come.

The art of living in becoming

Our Italian care – that search for harmony and that ability to recognize a masterpiece even in small things – evolves into a broader vision. We want to demonstrate that sustainability is not sacrifice, but elevation of taste. That choosing beauty can perfectly coincide with choosing what’s right.
But there’s an even more revolutionary idea at the heart of all this: it’s okay to think of your home not as something to be completed, but as a forever work in progress, in the same way that you probably are too. Your home grows with you, transforms, tells the chapters of your life through the objects you choose to bring inside.

Everything you’ve always wanted to know

Imagine a morning when you open RAREMOOD and find the discovery of a revolutionary fabric born from food industry waste, or the story of that small Italian manufacturer that still works cashmere like 150 years ago, or the Spanish artisan who makes plates with clay and gold. All very rare things, often never seen, that we unearth for you in every possible corner of the world.
But we won’t stop at discovery. We’ll tell you everything you’ve always wanted to know about objects: why they’re important, who makes them, what makes them valuable, how to acquire them, and, finally, how to put them together in a way that’s warm, inviting, and extremely personal, with any budget.
Because we believe that everyone has the right to live surrounded by beauty, and that this beauty comes from knowledge, from curiosity, from the ability to recognize authenticity even when it hides behind an affordable price or an unknown brand.

Curation, non content

It won’t just be content, it will be curation. Every suggestion will pass through our aesthetic and ethical filter, because we believe that the most sustainable object will also be the one you’ll love forever. And at your side we’ll always be available to give you suggestions, and to talk about it in person too, if and when you want.
We’re creating an ecosystem where beauty meets consciousness, where design embraces sustainability, where every choice becomes an act of personal creativity. A place to discover that living well doesn’t mean spending a lot, but choosing intelligently.
See you soon…!
Was it needed? I hope so, and I also hope that you, if you want, will tell me whether we’ve hit the mark or not.
