🌍 New York, here I come! And this time… I’m bringing the voice of women with me.

I’m writing this with the excitement of someone about to take on a major challenge—one of those moments that makes your heart race but that you know you must face with a smile and unwavering determination.
I’m about to leave for New York, and no, it’s not just for a stroll in Central Park or a visit to the MoMA (though that’s always a nice bonus 😉). This time, it’s for something much bigger: bringing the voices of women to the international stage of sustainability.
Yes, you heard that right. I will be at the United Nations to talk about the environment, sustainability, and the crucial role of women in shaping cities and urban spaces. Can you imagine? The Glass Palace, delegations from all over the world, and the weight of words that can (and must) influence the future of our planet.
There are moments in life when you pause and ask yourself: How did I get here?
And the answer is simple: through passion, commitment, and that healthy stubbornness that makes me believe sustainability is not just an abstract concept—it’s a way of living, building, and designing the world around us.
But what exactly am I going to do?
I will be representing the Consulta Femminile di Milano and AIDIA (Associazione Donne Ingegneri e Architetti d’Italia) at an event that focuses on the environment and the role of women in its transformation.
I will speak about bioarchitecture and sustainability, explaining why women must have a greater presence in decision-making processes that shape our cities and territories.
I will highlight the importance of gender-inclusive urban planning—because a truly sustainable city is not just a green city, but an inclusive, accessible, and safe one for everyone.
I will engage with international institutions, businesses, universities, and foundations with a clear objective: to demonstrate that without the active participation of women in decision-making spaces, the future of our cities will always be incomplete.
