In 2012, Hydro Ware took up the call for help from an electrosensitive person looking for a solution to live with electromagnetic fields. Together with Eureka, they came up with the plan for pianTina, a Dracaena Compacta grown in hydroponics that can reduce the effects of electromagnetic field pollution and metabolise the indoor pollution generated by our surroundings, in particular by purifying from benzene, formaldehyde and trichloroethylene, with a range of about two metres. After two years of testing, Dracaena was identified among the types of houseplants already selected in 1989 by NASA – intent on improving the living conditions of astronauts on missions – as the most suitable for eliminating pollutants from the atmosphere of closed rooms. Tests began on the natural products that would best help the plant express its abilities, and measurements were taken on seedlings of kamut seeds cultivated under different conditions: seeds in a normal environment, in the presence of electromagnetic fields; in the presence of Dracaena and electromagnetic fields, but with an enhanced Dracaena, i.e. with expanded clay granules impregnated with a natural product prepared by Eureka.According to studies, Dracaena Compacta, when enhanced with the product inserted at root level, stimulated up to 22% more kamut seed germination, whereas in the presence of an electromagnetic field they were unable to germinate and grow as in a healthy environment. The various investigations, on grains and with people, produced concordant results, showing that Eureka’s methods reduce the effects of electromagnetic field pollution on living beings without interfering with the functioning of the system.
