The Aqua vase, handcrafted by master glassmakers in Venice, is a unique object. Conceived as an integral part of the “Ikebana for Beginners” project, this vase transcends its decorative function, transforming into a dynamic expression of the emotions of those who use it.

The shape of the Aqua vase pays tribute to the Japanese aesthetic of Ikebana, the ancient art of creating harmonious floral compositions. The round base smoothly transitions into a hollow cylinder, which opens at the top into a twin element characterized by seven holes. These holes are designed to accommodate long-stemmed flowers, allowing them to stand gracefully and lightly, while the plate at the base holds water in which the stems are barely submerged, creating an illusion where glass and water merge into a single element and the boundary between the two completely disappears. The philosophy of the Aqua project speaks of a vase that goes beyond the function of containment but is designed to support and enhance the flower in every aspect.
