Climax Italy is a spinoff of Terradice Atelier del Paesaggio, established to do research and development of products for sustainable architecture. Thanks to the know-how of internal technicians and the advice of excellent professionals, as well as the resources of the parent company, studies begin to create a technological system of vertical greenery that is truly sustainable. After three years of development, the Climax System was born from Climax: the world’s only continuous-substrate modular vertical green system that does not use potable water and uses AI and IOT to manage the inputs needed to make the system reliable, performant, and finally able to optimize ecosystem services. The other branches of Terradice (established in 2014) are engaged in the areas of landscape and environmental consulting and design, naturalistic engineering, restoration of historic parks, and design and construction of Biopiscine (swimming pools with pure water without chlorine or other chemicals). Inside Climax you can breathe the fresh air of an environment composed of enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and totally green addicted people, working to move the technological frontier of sustainability ever further forward with the sophistication of Italian design.
Why it is in The Green Circle
Climax is a revolutionary project that may represent a new frontier in interior design as a complementary element to the plant engineering aspect, for cooling, humidity regulation, and oxygenation of indoor environments. The irrigation system that does not use potable water is an indication of where the research into greenery intended for architectural design is heading, and it supports a new, conscious approach to design.
