Our Concept: Promotion of sustainable local development through the (re) discovery of values, resources, raw materials or other potential sites that have fallen into disuse or have never been used before and that allow for the creation of value for the community and valorization of the territory, contemplating cumulatively five basic, fundamental principles: Environmental sustainability, Nature conservation, Fairtrade Animal welfare and Sustainable human development.
Our mission: Valuing the Transmontana region and its human, natural and genetic heritage. Development, production, distribution, commercialization and exportation of products of excellence. Generation of sustainable employment as a way to combat desertification in the region. Creation of value using native raw materials, currently not valued.
Why it is in The Green Circle
The production of donkey milk soaps by Tomelo has a beautiful story at its root, made of deep love and respect for this animal species, for the territory, and for the people who work there, which represents an important behavioral reference for many similar companies around the world. Raremood doesn’t just select products, but people, stories, and especially missions of particular sustainability. Tomelo powerfully represents all of these.
