Collebi
Collebi Collebi – A Celebration of Tuscan Ceramic Tradition Collebi is a collection of table and home décor pieces, born from the rich history of the Collebrunacchi Farm in San Miniato (Pisa). This collection revives the ceramic tradition once practiced at the farm during the 19th century and into the early 1900s. Within the property stands “La Fornace,” an old structure that still exists today, where materials for construction and decorative items were once produced. According to local lore, a large kiln inside La Fornace was used to fire bricks for building farmhouses and expanding production facilities. However, the kiln also served daily life, producing plates, pottery, decorative items, and cooking pots. From this long-standing tradition, COLLEBI was born. Today, the collection is crafted entirely in Tuscany by skilled local ceramists and decorators. Each piece is inspired by original models discovered on the farm. The designs strongly reflect the romantic charm of the 19th century, with noticeable influences from 18th-century styles. The modern reinterpretation comes to life through vibrant, colorful glazes rooted in the pastel hues of the Rococo period.

Why it is in The Green Circle Ilex pots merge two very relevant aspects of sustainability: the production of borosilicate glass (the type of glass with the least environmental impact in production) with an invitation to a gesture of great educational responsibility, the principle that wet waste should not be considered merely as waste, but as potential life. Ilex pots are used to revive the seeds of the fruit we eat, bringing them back to their reason for existence: to give life to a new plant. Each pot becomes the cradle of a new…

Lifelong
Lifelong When our founder, Adam, read the bleak statistics on climate change and how it will affect future generations, he felt compelled to act. With his own daughter, Mabel, in mind, he sought to reduce one major source of pollution – single-use plastics. With this inspiration in mind, Lifelong was born. Our aim is to help protect the planet with a range of eco-friendly products. Because personal care shouldn’t cost the Earth. Unfortunately, 13 billion plastic deodorants are thrown away every year. That’s why we designed a refillable, reusable, washable deodorant applicator. It comes with a unique, natural ‘powder to liquid’ deodorant, packaged in a plastic-free, paper-based pouch. Our solution completely eliminates the need for single-use plastic packaging. By not shipping the bulky plastic packaging or the water in the liquid deodorant, we manage to lower transport emissions by 94%. As our name suggests, we want to build Lifelong products. Designed to last you a lifetime. Every applicator will come with a Lifelong guarantee. We don’t believe in a throwaway culture. The KRATERES Collection At the heart of NOVOTONO’s creative journey is the KRATERES collection, born from a fusion of: Granulates of marble, granite, quartz, basalt, and volcanic stones Native woods from Northern Sardinia, including juniper, reed, and strawberry tree This collection reflects an artistic exploration where the static nature of stone—a symbol of sculpture—is transformed into a dynamic material with a painterly language. By fragmenting and reimagining stone, NOVOTONO crafts compositions that transcend its original properties, combining natural unpredictability with artistic sensitivity. Innovation Through Craftsmanship NOVOTONO’s work combines artistic research with technological knowledge, using stone’s natural variations to create one-of-a-kind objects. Each piece celebrates the interplay between the immutable qualities of stone and the boundless creativity of the artist, resulting in designs…

Osama
Osama The extraordinary Nature’s Touch Home Textile Collection by Guzzini is the result of the collaboration between Fratelli Guzzini, an Italian historical excellence founded in 1912 and specialized in the production of design articles for the table, kitchen, and furniture, and Osama S.p.A, a company founded in 1967 with vast experience in the textile industry. A collection that embodies the values shared by the two companies: a constant focus on innovation, a passion for high-quality products, and a tangible commitment to sustainability. Every shade, contour, and texture tells a story of timeless elegance and grace, creating atmospheres and emotions that delicately permeate homes with harmony, giving a personal touch to domestic environments and providing a pleasant feeling of warmth and hospitality. When conceiving Botanical Shade, we were inspired by the beauty and fragility of the natural world and committed to creating products that respect and preserve the environment. A collection that draws inspiration from the unique colors, shapes, and sensations that only nature provides. Each item in our collection contains the essence of nature, giving those who choose them a touch of gentleness and sustainability. This gives rise to the concept of Gentle Footprint, represented in the Botanical Shade logo,…
Perpetua
Perpetua Since 1994, we’ve been transforming waste into innovative everyday products, inspiring positive behaviors through design. The “story” of the objects we create is a manifesto of projects that “didn’t exist before” and that we felt the need to create simply because we are in love with change and obsessed with innovation. In 2012, our journey in R&D began, leading us to the deposit of the first patent for a product and production process related to the invention of a “writing device” in 2013. In 2017, we filed the second patent for a product and production process related to the invention of an original system for dyeing fabrics, both in garment and in piece. In 2022, we deposited the third patent for a product and process related to the development of an ultra-thin coating for the sustainable construction sector. The discovery of graphite powder, an unavoidable by-product of industrial production recovered from high-tech industry, is the engine that has inspired and continues to inspire our passion for innovation. Why it is in The Green Circle By choosing to create new products using industrial waste materials that would otherwise have been discarded into the environment, Alisea is committed to constant scientific…

Pottery Roma
Pottery In Pottery Roma, two souls—Walter and Carolina—bring together the experiences of 30 years of work. When you’re engaged in artistic craftsmanship, there’s a duality at play. You’re an artisan because you know how to work with your hands and the materials you create with, making it a profession (after all, bills need to be paid!). But you’re also an artist, carrying your passion with you everywhere, even at home, where inspiration often strikes at night. From the beginning, our work has always been fueled by a passion for materials. While others used ready-made products (acrylics, oils), we sought out unique, beautiful pigments in their natural state and explored ways to bind them to surfaces. These materials, non-toxic for those who work with them, require more time to prepare and apply—a sort of “slow art” and a way of preserving a disappearing tradition. What fascinated us was how everything brought us back to the artists who came before us. Through our craft as decorative artisans, we delved into art history and the materials that humanity has used to create works that remain timeless in their beauty. We discovered that traditional folk art, like furniture decoration, made use of readily available…
Raremood frangrance by Ephèmera
Raremood fragrance by Ephèmera Ephèmera signs the Olfactory Logo for RareMood for Home by Isabella Goldmann. Raremood for Home was conceived to be presented at The Green Circle, the area of MILANO HOME dedicated to sustainability and research: a tailor-made work designed to express the values of the two projects and to envelop visitors who cross the threshold of The Green Circle space in a multisensory experience that will remain imprinted in their olfactory memory. THE FRAGRANCE In creating the olfactory logo RAREMOOD for Home, we were guided by a fundamental principle in the world of bioarchitecture and sustainable innovation: bringing nature into the home, whether in the form of sunlight, air, color, or greenery. We included wood, representing the most sustainable and biocompatible material par excellence. Notes that evoke the significant female contribution and the role of women in architecture and sustainability could not be missing. Finally, we added a touch of effervescent happiness that arises when one succeeds in creating a healthy, beautiful space in harmony with the environment and the well-being of people. An olfactory logo that speaks of nature and simplicity, with an elegant, discreet background and a slight persistence. The fragrance opens with a sense…

Silkow
Silkow Silkow was born in the spring of 2021, just a few steps from Venice, where this precious fiber first landed from the Far East. The city of Marco Polo, of long journeys, of precious fabrics, where the distance between dreams and reality is thinner than anywhere else. It is a project that takes shape from the passions of its founders: silk in its finest forms and the search for personal well-being through a return to nature. Only pillowcases are made of pure silk because the raw material is the real protagonist of this story. That is why each package contains a real silk cocoon, a symbol of the natural origin of this precious fiber. Again, Silkow pillowcases are strictly natural white to maintain and enhance the natural coloring of silk, a symbol of its purity and delicacy. A raw material of excellence, no chemical coloring treatment is applied, and it is thermofixed with natural agents to maintain structure and softness even after numerous washings. But that’s not all: attention to detail and the quality of each component are key features of the brand. A careful choice aimed at the search for environmentally sustainable materials, from the label in pure…

From the beginning, Flensted has been defined by its aesthetic and timeless design universe, crafted to create quiet, lasting memories for generations. Each mobile is meticulously handcrafted in Denmark on the island of Funen, with great precision and care by skilled local artisans. Remarkably, the same production method established in 1953 remains in use today. The mobiles are assembled by local craftsmen, all of whom live within a 55-kilometer radius of the company’s headquarters. From 1982 to 2023, Ole and Aase Flensted guided the brand, further developing its iconic designs that embody Flensted’s unique DNA. Today, the company is owned by Christophe Duez, the third generation, and led by CEO Jesper Hammer. With a presence in prestigious stores and museums such as The Guggenheim, MoMA, Tate Gallery, and SMK, Flensted has cemented its status as a Danish design classic, proudly represented in 53 markets worldwide. This project produces small series, numbered one-of-a-kind pieces, and highly customized lapiega products, as well as pre-series items that reflect his innovative and artisanal vision.

Le Feu
Le Feu Le Feu – Scandinavian Design Meets Sustainable Warmth The vision behind Le Feu is to create simple, eco-friendly, and contemporary fireplaces that serve as a sustainable alternative to traditional gas and wood-burning models, both of which come with significant environmental drawbacks. Eco-Friendly Innovation Le Feu fireplaces are powered by bioethanol, an eco-friendly fuel that is 100% CO2-neutral. By blending Scandinavian aesthetics with sustainability, Le Feu fireplaces become a natural focal point for any modern home, offering the ambiance and warmth of real flames without compromising the health of the planet. The Science of Bioethanol The production of bioethanol fuel begins with biomass, which can include organic materials like grass, hay, corn, sugar cane, or even wood chips. The process involves: Breaking down cellulose from plants into sugars using water, steam, and enzymes. Fermentation, where yeast and bacteria convert these sugars into ethanol (alcohol) and natural CO2. Distillation,…

Ephèmera Ephèmera signs the Olfactory Logo for RareMood for Home by Isabella Goldmann. The fragrance opens with a sense of joy, happiness,…

Ylvaya In the YLVAYA collections, the influence of nature is evident in every line. Many of the elements in this collection are inspired by flowers and the natural world, as I began my career as a florist at a very young age. All the designs are personally created by the founder, Signe Becker. I love working with porcelain because it is one of my favorite materials. It offers limitless possibilities for creativity, allowing me to bring my ideas to life without boundaries.
Yuyu Bottle
Yuyu Bottle “The most memorable brands try to leave their consumers with an experience they will remember and want to share with their friends. Whether it be an emotion or a comfort or an outright surprise, you know when it touches you, you feel it when it happens and it stops you in your tracks. The simplicity and uncomplicated innovation of the YuYu Bottle is doing just this. It’s creating an unforgettable surprise, it’s stopping consumers in their tracks, making them reach for their phones to take selfies or shout out for their friends or family members – creating a consumer reaction that most brands can only dream of. Already brands such as the Mandarin Oriental, the Four Seasons and The Ritz have commissioned their very own luxurious bespoke designs, sharing the YuYu gift of warmth and creating an immeasurable connection between brand and consumer. Private hospitals and medical experts have come forward to endorse the conveniently ‘longer shaped’ hot water bottle, also available with a wearable belt for pain relief and comfort for a range of chronic illnesses ranging from Endometriosis to Crohn’s disease.” Richard Yu – Founder & CEO “There’s no greater gift we can give another human…

Akira Satake
Akira Satake For me, the act of creation is a collaboration between myself, the clay and the fire. Collaboration means finding what the clay wants to be and bringing out its beauty in the way that the beauty of our surroundings is created through natural forces. Undulations in sand that has been moved by the wind, rock formations caused by landslides, the crackle and patina in the wall of an old house; all these owe their special beauty to the random hand of Nature. The fire is the ultimate random part of the collaborative equation. I hope the fire will be my ally, but I know it will always transform the clay in ways I cannot anticipate.
Anne Krieg
Anne Krieg Anne KRIEG started working with clay to make her own dish sets. Throughout the various stages of the production of her pieces, she focuses on visual and tactile rendering as well as on enhancing the color and texture of the pieces.Throughout the various stages of the production of her pieces, she focuses on visual and tactile rendering as well as on enhancing the color and texture of the pieces.Beyond the visual, it is the ease of use that will reveal all the beauty of the pieces. Why it is in The Green Circle Anne Krieg is a research ceramist, with sustainability inherent in her art. Her beautiful collections of interlocking geometric plates are astounding, designed to fill the entire kiln surface, thus minimizing the need for excessive firings to complete a set. Environmental and energy sustainability merge into a highly significant expressive result. SDGs: 7, 12, 13, 15.
By Manet – Emmanuelle Musset
By Manet Ceramic designer Emmanuelle Musset takes a multifaceted approach to objects, blending utility and decoration, design and recycling, with sharp lines and organic shapes. Through a series of collections featuring tableware, vases, and hybrid objects that bridge functionality and sculpture, she explores various combinations of clay and complementary materials such as glass and wood. She creates unique pieces, either as small differentiated series or custom-made. Her formal research revolves around a range of concepts, including interlocking forms, raw clay, precision, randomness, multi-materials, and engraving. In her studio in Igny, Essonne, designed as an eco-friendly space within her garden, recycling and virtuous cycles between her pieces are core values that fuel her creativity. The artist incorporates these ethical notions of environmental care both in her creations and their packaging. For example, a tap directly connected to a rainwater tank supplies her daily with water for the clay and cleaning processes. Elena Milani
Elena Milani Elena Milani designs and creates artistic ceramics for interiors and gardens. Her entire production is divided into series of ceramics, each rooted in a central concept that is developed to create unique, entirely handmade pieces. Each series draws inspiration from themes related to nature: plants, seeds, soil, leaves, fruits, insects, and more, aiming to tell the story of the natural world through organic forms. Her work with shapes and volumes is a process of subtraction, seeking an essence that evokes rather than describes nature. This narrative unfolds in multiple directions: it reflects on the significant anthropogenic impact on ecosystems, almost as an alarm call, while also celebrating the beauty of the natural world, driven by its distinctive life force. Each narrative direction ties into the artist’s past or present experiences, serving as an emotional tribute to a natural world that is close, necessary, and akin to us. Elena Milani’s ceramics are fired in an electric kiln, always fully loaded and powered in part by solar energy. The clay scraps from production are continuously recycled, producing no waste, and sediment from wastewater is repurposed. Water use is minimized through basin systems where tools are cleaned multiple times with the…

Kornelia Schwitzer
Kornelia Schwitzer In this time of world transformation more than ever I want to work only with people and projects that have meaning behind what they do. A mission, so to speak, to help the world with their work and their actions and to give impulses to the environment, to be able to develop in a positive direction, in a freer, more natural, and happier direction. And I feel that so much in the choice of Raremood. There is a message behind a classic shop. Each product carries its own story, and each story has to do to improve the world, to bring out the true power of natural, handcrafted materials, which are not found everywhere, and subsequently have a higher value in comparison to similar industrial products.
Marcela Frey
Marcela Frey MARCELA FREY Marcela Frey – Handcrafted Bags Blending Tradition and Innovation My story is rooted in the rich artisanal traditions of my grandfather’s homeland. As a child, I spent summers with my grandmother and aunt, learning to shape with my hands what I imagined in my mind and heart. About nine years ago, a chance encounter with a woman carrying a uniquely designed bag reignited those childhood memories. Captivated by its elegance and meticulous attention to detail, I became her client. This connection inspired the idea of combining my roots and family skills with the creativity of this artisan, giving rise to a collaboration that weaves together past and present. Timeless Craftsmanship Today, every bag we create is meticulously handcrafted, resulting in exclusive pieces that embody passion, tradition, and innovation. Each design features unique color and material combinations, giving every creation a distinctive and unrepeatable character. Sustainability and Artistry By celebrating artisanal techniques and working with sustainable materials, our process reflects a commitment to preserving cultural heritage while embracing modern aesthetics. Each bag tells a story of careful craftsmanship and creativity, designed to last and inspire. Why in The Green Circle Marcela Frey embodies the principles of artisanal…
Matthieu Gicquel
Matthieu Gicquel The conclusion after reading In Praise of Shadows is clear: Matthieu Gicquel is moving toward something simpler, more sincere. The glass is textured—why change or alter it? Perhaps the intrinsic beauty of an almost “raw” object carries as much magnetism as a more “pure” one. Gicquel chooses plaster as his medium to texture the glass, imprinting it with forms that are endlessly random yet always unique. His purpose transcends creation itself. The strength of his work does not rest solely in the objects he crafts, but in the thoughtful approach that shapes them. Over time, his technique has refined itself, giving rise to the “Yuugen” texture, which emerges beautifully at 900°C. The textured glass is alive, raw, and real. In Gicquel’s hands, East and West, concept and object, unite seamlessly. Wabi-sabi is reimagined, and so is glass. Text by Frédéric Martin

Onofrio Acone
Onofrio Acone An entrepreneur and creative artist since 1997, Onofrio Acone took his first steps in the ceramic workshop founded by his parents in 1982. Having grown up in that workshop, a passion for this incredible material with a thousand potentialities was born in him right from the start, and he developed his creativity with ceramics from the very start. Why it is in The Green Circle Onofrio Acone’s ceramics are not made on a lathe but with a very ancient technique that uses a continuous ribbon of clay twisted upon itself and then worked by hand. This is the recovery of ancient knowledge and the valorization of a culture that would otherwise risk disappearing. Its significant sustainability lies precisely in keeping this skill alive and spreading it globally, which uniquely characterizes its territory. SDGs: 7, 12, 13, 15

Verolab “I’ve always believed that extraordinary things can happen in life. It happened to me with porcelain. In 2015 I started the production of my porcelain … I still remember the satisfaction of looking at my first “perfect” cup! After a thousand attempts, errors and trials, I have become familiar with the subject and over time I have increased my technical confidence. Working with porcelain is a tough choice, because of all ceramics it is the most precious and elegant one. The only translucent one, and the most difficult, too. To create a handcrafted object in porcelain it takes at least 10 working days. A long job, which requires about ten steps, as well as two firings: the second one reaches a temperature of 1250 degrees centigrade. Each step of the birth of an object requires experience, sensitivity, and precision. This is why I have learned to value failure too, not to lose patience in the face of negative results. Indeed, mistakes become an opportunity for me to look for the right path, through beauty and lightness. Southern Ice porcelain is one of the finest and whitest porcelain on the market.
