Crafted from white stoneware with gray inserts (neriage technique) and high-fired at elevated temperatures. The surface is carved with horizontal patterns, adding texture and depth. It features small feet at the base, lifting it slightly off the supporting surface, while the upper rim is deliberately irregular, enhancing its organic feel.

Ceramic inspired by the nests of pollinating insects.
The hornet chews plant cellulose to build its home, which can display different colors depending on the types of plant essences it collects.
I created these vases by experimenting with stoneware in various shades—browns, reds, blacks, and light tones—emphasizing the horizontal flow of the volumes through carving techniques, with deliberately asymmetrical and off-centered forms.
Favi aims to celebrate the beauty of biodiversity, the extraordinary work of the creatures that live alongside us—creatures we often torment due to their perceived danger, and harm through the use of pesticides and various toxins.
