Ossa is a collection of artistic ceramics inspired by “seed boxes,” the seed capsules of plants. These woody casings symbolically resemble the hard parts of our bodies: bones. They act as a protective shell for the plant’s life essence. Nature offers countless forms of capsules, and this diversity captured my attention. Some pieces in the Ossa collection are stylistically closer to the botanical nature of their inspiration, while others evoke organic shapes and transform into abstract structures. All are united by a single purpose: to celebrate life in its many diverse manifestations.
