This unique porcelain vase from our ‘ARCHITECTURE’ collection is meticulously handcrafted using the coil technique. The interior is glazed for practicality, while the exterior remains unglazed, featuring a pattern inspired by the iconic ‘cassettoni’ square niches of the Pantheon in Rome.
The intricate decoration is created using the shellac technique, adding depth and texture to the design.
The vase undergoes two firings in an electric kiln: the first at 950°C (bisque firing) and the second at 1270°C (glaze firing). These high-temperature firings ensure the porcelain’s exceptional strength, durability, and robustness.
At JHA PORCELAIN, we use only the finest porcelain clay, celebrated for its strength, hardness, pristine whiteness, and delicate translucency. Tiny imperfections and slight variations in each piece are a testament to the artisanal craftsmanship, making every vase a truly one-of-a-kind work of art.
