Vase in white clay, crafted using the slab technique. The clay mixture is prepared by hand, incorporating powdered pigments added raw to the clay, which is then kneaded according to a specific technique to achieve a marbled effect. This effect is not created with surface paints or glazes but results from blending differently toned clay mixtures.
Unique piece; any reproductions will vary in marbling pattern, even if similar in shape, due to the handmade process. Finished with a transparent glaze.
Suitable for holding water, though a saucer is recommended, as slight moisture seepage may occur.
